More Features
A growing catalogue of capabilities that don't always make the headline tour but quietly make running an event easier. New entries get added here as we ship them.
Roles & permissions
Every action in Skorie is gated by role, so a walk in volunteer can help score without being able to publish a result, and a steward can withdraw a horse without having to fetch the organiser. Roles are per event, so the same person can be an organiser at their home venue and a competitor everywhere else.
Full control of an event - schedule, entries, scoring, results, refunds, comms. The person whose name is on the schedule.
Everything to do with scoring and results - accept matched scores, unpublish, correct, republish. Cannot change the schedule or entries.
Can enter scores from a paper sheet so a Scorer Pro can match and accept them. Useful for a volunteer at the prize giving table - help with the workload without owning the result.
Submits photos of paper scoresheets from the judge's box. The image lands in the scoring queue ready for a scorer to key in.
Sees the scoresheets they officiated, their Judges' Log Book, and any feedback the rider chose to share. No access to other judges' rides.
Withdrawals, no shows, and ticking off horses as they arrive in the collecting ring. Quick mobile workflow, no scoring access needed.
Enters online, manages their own partner and rider details, sees their scoresheets and results once published.
Skorie staff role for setup, recovery, and audit. Used sparingly - day to day running is the organiser's job, not ours.
Stewards app
A focused mobile view for the steward on the ground - the running order for the arena they're working, who's in the pocket, who hasn't shown, and a one tap withdraw. Built so a steward with one hand on a lead rope can still keep the arena moving.
The schedule filtered to the arena and class the steward is on. Times, horse, rider, status, next on deck - one screen, no scrolling through tabs.
As horses arrive at the collecting ring the steward ticks them off. The judge's tablet and the scoreboard see it instantly - everyone knows who's actually here.
Rider scratching at the gate? One tap to withdraw. The class re-flows, the scoresheet is parked, the schedule updates everywhere.
When a horse hasn't shown by their call time, the steward sees a prompt with the two options - call out one more time, or mark no show and move on.
